Kenny's Reef

Kenny's Reef sits in sheltered water with depths from 8 to 25 metres, making it accessible for intermediate divers. Today's conditions are marginal. The period is short at 4.6 to 5.7 seconds, which creates choppy surface conditions that dominate how the site will feel, though waves themselves are modest at 0.7 to 1.1 metres. Water temperature runs 28.7 to 29.3°C. The reef remains diveable, but you'll want to be comfortable with a somewhat jumbled surface.

Divers commonly log stoplight parrotfish, Atlantic blue tangs, and schoolmaster snappers here. Spotted eagle rays and hawksbill sea turtles are often recorded, along with blue land crabs and Caribbean land hermit crabs picking across the bottom. The reef's sheltered aspect generally keeps things manageable for the experienced intermediate diver, though today's chop will require steady technique on entry and exit.
